Meet Abdullah Umar: Manager IFRS Services

Abdullah Umar is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a Bachelor’s degree from the London School of Economics. As Manager – IFRS Services at ProConsult International, Abdullah brings over 5 years of diverse experience spanning Assurance, Valuation, Financial Statement Preparation, and Management.

 

Abdullah began his career at Ernst and Young (EY), where he gained deep expertise in auditing clients across multiple industries. During his tenure at EY, he worked with leading organizations such as Allied Bank, Uch Power Private Limited, FFBL Power Company, and S&P Global, honing his skills in IFRS advisory services, risk management, and financial reporting.

 

His experience includes auditing under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), where he developed a strong command over complex accounting standards, financial statement preparation, and compliance with global reporting requirements. Abdullah’s expertise in IFRS ensures that clients receive comprehensive and practical solutions tailored to their specific needs.

 

Abdullah further expanded his expertise during his tenure at ZONG CMPAK, where he managed the revenue function of the company and successfully led multiple business process optimization projects. This hands-on experience has strengthened his ability to align financial reporting with strategic business goals.
